Pacific Institute

For over 35 years, TPI has been working its portfolio with the public sector in two dimensions of its application. Firstly, in applying our complete organisational portfolio to enable the transformation of organisational culture, the basis for organisational effectiveness. The sector has highly skilled and experienced staff but so much change effort does not develop the sense of self and collective efficacy, often articulated as low morale or motivation or attitudinal change. TPI is a leader in the development of self and collective efficacy and positive thinking skills. Our tools can be applied with the leadership, with managers and through to front-line staff, offering a holistic approach to modelling a constructive organisational culture. This approach supports the pursuit of best value and of excellence.

Secondly, with the development of our own portfolio, we have tools for working with clients, residents and in patient care at all ages and ability levels. We provide a powerful means to support the personal development, self-esteem, optimism and personal accountability of clients with whom the public sector, in its diversity, engages.

Traditionally, TPI has worked with government offices and local councils, but more recently a significant and growing interest from the health service, the police and youth services is emerging.

Client Views

I have found this training very beneficial both personally and professionally. It has had a positive effect on those around me at work and home and I have gone back to the learning materials regularly...staff need to have the personal skills to cope and flourish in this environment and I believe this course really contributes to achieving that.
