In the Community Regeneration Sector, TPI aims to enable successful people, organisations, partnerships and communities with high self-belief and aspirations. Working through and with neighbourhoods we are able to make a significant contribution to key themes in social and economic renewal. Although communities and organisations develop their own unique application of our programmes and tools, patterns have emerged and these include:
confident families and children : developing and nurturing parents and children; inspiring tools for practitioners in health, social services and the voluntary sector;
aspirational learning, employability, health and well-being : personal development and positive mental well-being; integrating self-esteem, ambition and accountability into neighbourhood and vocational learning;
achieving young people: enabling positive life-style choices; tools for working with young people;
supporting social inclusion and social justice : personal growth and change for individuals with life challenges; solution-focussed interventions and tools for agencies;
sharing partnerships and community capacity-building : enabling shared strategies and goals with multi-agency partners: increasing collective ambition and new tools and skills for communities;
successful organisations and enterprises: enabling sustainable social enterprises and business start-ups; facilitating constructive leadership, organisational resilience and growth.
Whether working at neighbourhood or city level, TPI is committed to capacity-building . This involves training local facilitators, so there is skills transfer, a legacy. Local facilitators are then able to integrate our tools and programmes into the wider portfolio of interventions required to address the complex human and community issues we often face.

“We do the Pacific Institute Investment in Excellence course across all our managers - it's a great tool for reflecting on what's stopping you achieving what you really want - or whether you don't want it after all.”
