Pacific Institute

Focus

The Institute works in over 50 countries, consulting with clients to deliver high performance and cultural change in businesses, the public sector, health and education systems. The core tools we use focus on developing self-efficacy, self and collective belief, and accountability for results. The Pacific Institute shows leaders and staff how to move beyond perceived and real internal and external obstacles to growth, and translate their potential into performance. People are enabled to examine their individual and collective habits, attitudes, beliefs and expectations. At the leadership and organisational level, The Pacific Institute provides tools and processes that support the deepening of purpose and vision, the focus on customers and stakeholders, and the development of accountability for results at every level.

The Pacific Institute has tools that measure and develop constructive organisational cultures. This leads to more open and authentic communication and discussions of 'reality'. It provides leadership with insights and feedback that enable them to change their behaviours and have a profoundly positive impact on their work culture. There is solid economic logic in investing in the development of constructive cultures, apart from the human benefits of increased satisfaction, improved health and well being (all researched outcomes of constructive cultures).

Research

We adhere to a scientific and psychological rigour when developing our approach. All our work is based on an accurate translation of proven cognitive research and robust theory on leadership and organisational effectiveness. The work draws on and is supported by some of the world's leading researchers in the domains of cognitive psychology, neural sciences and culture change processes in organisations. These internationally recognised figures include, in particular, Dr Albert Bandura (Stanford University) and Prof Martin Seligman (University of Pennsylvania). We are also constantly developing more effective and inspiring delivery systems to suit changing learning styles.

Our clients are looking for specific results. For some it is culture change, for others, bottom line results, improved leadership, educational attainment, greater self esteem or getting a job. We focus on what you want and rigorously measure results to ensure you achieve it.

Our People

As a people business, we are acutely aware of the need to hire the best and develop and support them to be the best. All our staff and colleagues come from professional backgrounds which suit the sectors they specialise in. Many are former senior executives which enables them to empathise with the senior management teams and organisations that we support.

Why The Pacific Institute?

We have a long history of implementing this approach in large organisations that have achieved dramatic, measurable results.

What is uniquely different about The Pacific Institute?

The Pacific Institute offers a valuable, unique and scientifically based approach that:

  • Raises the confidence level of each participating individual by equipping them with the knowledge as to how to make the changes they want for themselves, at work, at home and in their communities.
  • Accomplishes employee "buy-in" to the whole concept of change and growth by providing the proven tools to change in areas where they have the passion but lack the skills, desire or belief in their ability to change.
  • Engages the hearts and minds of individual employees as human beings, from the 'inside out'. It re-kindles in each individual the appetite and enthusiasm to make things better in their personal and their professional lives.
  • Results in a "meaningfully engaged" work force generating deep-seated and heartfelt commitment to grow and change individually - actively causing effective growth and change organisationally.
