Pacific Institute

The Pacific Institute started life in 1971 with a simple idea - if you open people's mind to their own potential and how to achieve it, step changes in organisational and community effectiveness will follow.

When founders Lou and Diane Tice hit on this simple truth, they bucked the conventional thinking of the time and began a journey to create a global organisation.

Over the years, The Pacific Institute has been working with clients on issues of leadership, team and organisational performance. At the heart of its approach has been the focus on the individual as the core of the change and growth process. Organisations do not change, individuals do and they change one at a time. When leaders model this personal mastery, the nature of leadership changes. The function of leaders truly becomes the creation of more leaders, not more followers. The Pacific Institute provides the vehicles to both ignite and speed up this process of generating leadership at every level.

Over time, The Pacific Institute has become a significant practitioner in developing positive organisational cultures and results. It has taken its original 'person-centred' technologies and developed them to support team and organisational results. This focuses primarily on leadership and management in the first instance, and then on staff.
