The Challenge
A realisation that organisations only change successfully if their people change as well prompted the PCT to focus on equipping its managers and senior leadership with tools to develop their leadership.
The TPI Intervention
Investment in Excellence® with senior leaders and managers.
Key Results
- Up to 50 key leaders within the PCT experienced the Investment in Excellence® programme. The Directors, CEO and Chair all attended as part of the main programmes, not as a separate entity.
- Senior leadership noted a definite change in manager performance: a “can do” atttitude and raised enthusiasm about service development.
- The PCT noted a significant reduction in staff turnover, despite the structural changes occurring in service delivery at the time.
