Nature of Project
Working with the national airline carrier of New Zealand to develop the potential of their human resource and best capitalise on their strengths.
The Challenge
The program was introduced purely as a gift, there was no tie back to increased productivity or efficiencies, or any real KPI. In fact work was only discussed in a very broad context as something that all participants had in common.
The TPI Intervention
- A custom adaptation of Investment in Excellence® branded as Realise Your Potential (RYP) which was delivered to approximately 9860 staff worldwide.
- Up to 80 trained facilitators delivered a minimum of 4 programmes a week at a dedicated Auckland site but programmes were also conducted in other international sites at the same time.
- The rollout occurred over a two year contract period.
Key Results
Although the project never set out to align with any defined business objective, as an organisation, Air New Zealand did measure the impact on some of the personal elements of the program. They measured through pre and post surveys, followed up with post post surveys three months later.
As would be expected there was a significant increase in the post survey results but this increase was maintained in the post post surveys as well.
